The U436-06N-G-C USB 3.1 Gen 1 USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet NIC Network Adapter allows USB Type-C computers, laptops, tablets and other compatible devices without an NIC (Network Interface Controller) to connect to a network or the Internet using an RJ45 cable. It's a more convenient and less expensive way to connect to a network than opening your device and installing an internal Ethernet card.
No software or drivers are needed. Connect the adapter's USB-C male plug to the USB-C port on your device. Then, connect the adapter's RJ45 port to a network using a UTP cable, such as Tripp Lite's N201-Series Cat6 cables. The U436-06N-G-C allows you to transfer data quickly and stream audio and video at true 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet speeds.
The USB-C charging port supports power input up to 20V 3A (60W). It powers the device that the U436-06N-G-C is plugged into by connecting the charging port to a USB-C wall charger.
Compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab and 802.3az standards. Supports 10/100/1000 auto-sensing, twisted-pair crossover detection, auto-correction and Wake-on-LAN power management. Compatible with Windows, Mac and Chromium operating systems. Backward compatible with previous USB versions.
