The Trenton TMS4702 4U rackmount military computer is designed for mounting in a 19” component rack or a transit case. This 4U rackmount computer solution utilizes long-life system components in order to provide the configuration stability needed for extended project cycles common in military applications.

The TMS4702 4U rackmount military computer that has been certified to a number of different MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461F environmental and electrical standards and test methods. These certifications enable the TMS4702 to be deployed with confidence in a variety of government and defense applications. A rugged yet lightweight aluminum chassis is used in the TMS4702 and a corrosion-resistant coating is applied to both the chassis and fastening hardware.

The wide array of small form factor (SFF) or 14-slot backplanes and robust single board computer options available with the TMS4702 maximizes application flexibility and performance by using COTS long-life components that support extended system deployments. This rackmount computer, including all the boards inside the system, was designed and made in the United States to enable extended PCI Express and PCI-X/PCI option card support in military computing applications.
