The THS5095 HDEC Series 5U Rackmount Computer excels in the throughput-intensive compute loads often found in the industrial control and automation and remote sensing arenas. A HDEC Series System Host Board, such as the Trenton HEP8225 featuring two, long life, Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v3 or v4 processors, provides proven processing performance and the flexibility of eighty (80) lanes of PCIe 3.0 delivered to the backplane. Multiple backplane options are available to suit a variety of deployment scenarios and micro-redundant power supplies maximize system uptime. Two 3.5” disk drive bays and provisions for a slimline optical disk drive provide storage configurability. This system design paradigm delivers wider system bandwidths and lower data latencies that are critical when integrating today’s high-performance standard, off-the-shelf PCI Express plug-in cards.
