Use switch for luminous high quality playback of all your videos. Switch has all the playback control features you’d expect in a professional player such as fast forward and rewind, slow motion, as well as single-frame forward and back. Multi-format playback support includes MOV, MP4, MXF, GXF, MPEG-2 transport streams and more.
Open the inspection tool to see the properties of your media. Check audio channels, speaker labels, aspect ratio, aperture information, bit-rate, frame rate, metadata, encoding formats and more. There’s a fully featured audiometer panel where you can check your audio levels and even solo or mute audio channels. You can also load secondary audio or closed caption files, which can be included in an export.
Switch to export mode to make changes to the file of specify a new file format; a new video or audio codec; trim, scale or crop the video; add metadata and insert chapter markers. You can even rearrange audio tracks and edit speaker assignments. Video and Audio pass-through mode allows you to make non-encoding-related changes to your media.
Switch also contains a built-in packaging preset that lets you export and create an asset-only iTunes store package.
