The rectangular cabinet is designed for the upper section of a high-output, 1400 watt(peak), 2-way MF/HF line array system, it is perfect for middle-sized venue applications or in smaller line array system for use as distributed clusters in arenas, stadiums and in large performance spaces including houses of worship and stages. Combining these speakers with 18" SA118S or dual 15” SA215S subwoofers will extend the bass performance, giving extra punch. Their 120° horizontal coverage is ideal for wide area and long throw applications; The vertical coverage angle is approximately 10° . The HF section is comprised of 2 HF compression 1.75" titanium drivers and dual 8" mid-band woofers with 2" coil. A precious HF vertical wave guide provides excellent far-field summing. Greater mid bass clarity and high frequency accuracy make the SA28 a good choice for a line array MF/HF system. New proprietary rigging allows for rapid venue load-in and load-out, linking hardware included. Multiply birch plywood enclosure with scratch resistant paint also makes the SA28 tough and reliable for heavy operation.
