Sony is introducing two new fiber conversion kits - KTSONY38042ST and KTSONY38044ST - specifically designed by MultiDyne to work seamlessly with Sony’s BRC-X1000/1 and BRC-H800/1 PTZ Cameras. These new fiber converter kits go beyond the common 3G-SDI-to-fiber or Ethernet-to-fiber converters currently on the market. The KTSONY38042ST and KTSONY38044ST kits offer multiple 3G-SDI channels from the BRC PTZ cameras, and transmits both Ethernet and Genlock to the camera, all across a single single-mode fiber. The KTSONY38042ST kit includes the transmitter (camera end) and receiver (head end). The receiver has a single BNC connector for Genlock IN, an RJ45 for Ethernet IN and two BNC connectors for 3G-SDI OUT. There is also the single ST connector for the fiber link. The transmitter has two BNC connectors for 3G-SDI IN from the camera, two RJ 45 connectors for Ethernet and two BNC connectors for Genlock. When using this fiber kit with the BRC-X1000/1 PTZ camera, you can connect a single dual-link 3G-SDI video output (LINE or MONITOR) from a single BRC-X1000/1. When using this kit with the BRC-H800/1 PTZ camera, you can connect a two 3G-SDI video outputs (both LINE and MONITOR) from a single BRC-H800/1. If your application is using two BRC-H800/1 cameras, you can connect a single LINE or MONITOR video output from both cameras.
