The DAC-8013 can output signals in several popular analog component formats. Two sets of analog outputs are provided. The use of high-quality 10-bit conversion and signal processing results in full broadcast quality output. The DAC-8013 also functions as serial distribution amplifier and provides one serial reclocked output. Input cable equalization is exceptionally good, being able to operate fault-free with 305m (1000ft) of 8281 cable. Circuit has been included to monitor certain signal faults and report in SMPTE 269M format. Indicators confirm that the input signal strength is sufficient for fault-free operation.
