Self-Amplified Trumpet Speakers are the clear alternative to the outdated horn speaker design. Delivering up to 40 watts of power directly to the speaker, each powered speaker can drive three additional non-powered speakers. 60-foot throw, 120-degree horizontal and 90-degree vertical dispersion. Weatherized, the trumpet speakers have a black or paintable white ABS plastic enclosure, aluminum grill and a unique "C" bracket for wall, ceiling or pole mounting.
The AMPBACKPLATE is the amplifier module that makes the regular Trumpet Speaker into a self-amplified speaker. This module is being attached at the back to replace the plastic cover of the TRP470.
The amplifier is housed in an all-metal cap with electronics inside. It acts as a convenient heat sink for the internal amplifier. A 15 volt Level 5 power supply is provided. The amplifier accepts a balanced audio input for maximum noise rejection. It has a high quality powder coat providing maximum durability. The power kit comes with mounting screws.
