The 2X2VG-HDER3S63 is a (3) Source Integratable amplified ceiling speaker on a 2X2 full grill with backcan enclosure which also includes a 70 Volt Speaker on the same grill. The amplifier has an electronic shunt to help conform to life safety NFPA72 regulations to be able to shut off from a central locations in the event of an emergency.

Model with full grill: The new amplifier has 3 sources; 1) one stereo 3.5 mini jack line input, 2) one POP aux input, and 3) one CAT 5 input for connection to the OWI mixer.

Model with vinyl grill: The new amplifier has 3 sources; 1) one stereo 3.5 mini jack line input, 2) one POP aux input, and 3) one CAT 5 input for connection to the OWI MC4 mixer. (If 25/70/100 volt is required then a transformer will be required and supplied).

A new advantage for the 2X2VG-HDER3S63 is that the upgrade is modular. If Bluetooth, or a digital input or more inputs are required then an upgraded board can be attached to the 2X2VG-HDER3S63 or can be installed remotely and connected via the RJ45 input. This flexibility is designed to provide multiple applications for different markets with a single product.

The 2X2VG-HDER3S63 is the perfect audio partners for projectors, microphones, music and paging applications. By placing the amplifier within inches of the speaker, maximum damping control of the speaker due to low source impedance is achieved. The result is optimum high fidelity reproduction and response without an external amplifier. With up to 40 watts of class AB power delivered directly to the speaker, OWI's self-amplified speakers are powerful enough to drive three additional non-amplified speakers.
