The One Systems ONE.SP8 is a weather-protected, horn-loaded, medium-format speaker. The ONE.SP8 is equipped with an 8-inch woofer with a 2-inch voice coil and a 1.75-inch compression driver with a titanium diaphragm that provides beautifully detailed sound with extended response and good transients. Thanks to its ported, horn-loaded enclosure, the ONE.SP8 delivers higher output than would otherwise be possible. The ONE.SP8's one-piece enclosure is made of weather and UV-resistant High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE).The enclosure is equipped with 5 x M8 stainless steel rigging points that accommodate the speaker's included U-Bracket or other suspension accessories for mounting to walls or ceilings. Optional pole mount brackets are available for attachment to light or utility poles. The speaker is also equipped with a built in 35 mm / 1-3/8-inch speaker pole socket for temporary setups. The grille utilizes One System's "Rain Shield" design and has three layers that limit moisture intrusion. The ONE.SP8 has a 90 x 40-degree horn that provides a big wide sound. The ONE.SP8 can be powered as a Lo-Z (8 ohm) system or as a Hi-Z (70.7 or 100 volts) system with taps at 150, 75 and 37.5 watt taps. The ONE.SP8 provides generous 121 dB continuous, 127 dB peak output capability. For applications that require ample output with high vocal intelligibility in a compact enclosure, the ONE.SP8 is a viable solution.
