Three IEX16L-A with the RME ADI-648 MADI to ADAT interface
MADI, ADAT and the myMix protocol are all 24-bit/48kHz signals so no audio signal quality is lost due to sample rate conversion
myMix system generates its own clock there is no need to feed any master clock
Simply connect the MADI cable to the ADI-648 input and use TOSLINK cables to forward the signals to the IEX16L-A
If you want to consolidate the data from multiple IEX16 to a single CAT5(6) cable to the main switch, take a look at the Connect8 and the Multi 8 switches
The MADI-48 is a package of three IEX16L-A with the RME ADI-648 MADI to ADAT interface. You can add another IEX16L-A for a total of 64 channels. MADI, ADAT and the myMix protocol are all 24-bit/48kHz signals so no audio signal quality is lost due to sample rate conversion. As the myMix system generates its own clock there is no need to feed any master clock: simply connect the MADI cable to the ADI-648 input and use TOSLINK cables to forward the signals to the IEX16L-A. If you want to consolidate the data from multiple IEX16 to a single CAT5(6) cable to the main switch, take a look at the Connect8 and the Multi 8 switches.
