The model is packed with innovations, notably integrated speaker tracking capabilities and its ability to produce a composite picture-in-picture effect in-camera by harnessing its two imagers. The 4K VC-TR60A represents the future of robotic camera technology.
VC-TR60A incorporates an array of directional sound sensors that detect the location of active human voices. The camera head then moves and zooms to shoot the current speaker, re-framing as other voices enter the discussion. The audio tracking works in conjunction with the AI capabilities of the unit which enables the camera to differentiate between sounds made by human and non-human sources. Designed for meeting rooms, radio studios and vlogging applications, VC-TR60A automates the entire production process, delivering beautifully framed shots for use in video conferences, presentations, interviews or training.
Alongside this audio tracking breakthrough, the camera outputs dual stream video. VC-TR60A features a panoramic camera in its base unit, with a main 12x zoom camera attached to its robotic arm. Alternatively, the user can combine the two video images in a picture-in-picture display with output over HDMI and USB. This allows the audience to watch a composite video that incorporates both the wide-angle view and the tight shot.
