The remote interface shall be a digital control interface for use with Lightronics Architectural Series of products. The unit shall enable dimmer scene activation from multiple remote locations using simple switch closures. In addition to sensing switch closures, the unit shall send LED drive signals to the remote switch locations for operator visual feedback.

The unit shall be available in a chassis or as a printed circuit board version. The unit shall communicate with the AR1202 dimmer via a 4 wire bus which will accommodate multiple remote units of several types. All wiring associated with the AX-0009 shall be low voltage.

The units operation shall be completely transparent to the user. The unit shall have no operator controls. The unit shall automatically sense and encode switch signals to activate scenes which shall be stored in the dimmer. Multiple units may be utilized on the same bus and each unit shall be set to activate a different group of scenes.
