Product Info
These innovative contacts use double alignment and protected lens technology to create a new connector system providing significant advantages over traditional expanded beam connectors. The double alignment first expands the optical area 1000’s of times and secondly aligns the optical beam to the mechanical axis of the contact. This unique system provides excellent return loss (better than 60dB) making the contact perfect for analog fiber applications like HD FLIR imaging, RF-over-fiber used in cell tower extensions and passive split analog cable transmission systems. The mechanical and optical components are potted to provide mechanical protection for easy insertion and thousands of cycles of trouble free service.
