The fiber distribution splice and patch enclosure is used as a building entry point or as a floor distributor, providing both a splice and pluggable connectivity options. These enclosures provide a central demarcation point to distribute the optical data signals within a specific floor or zone of a larger installation, or for an indoor entry point into smaller buildings and homes. The three-layer enclosure has multiple cable entry points to accommodate different mounting and routing options including mid-span, in-line or end-point configurations. The hinged splice tray supports up to 18 fusion splices and covers the fiber storage area located in the base of the enclosure. The hinged connectivity layer protects the splices and provides an SC or LC pluggable interface.
