Our high-definition IPTV decoder and video switch accepts digital video streams (IPTV) from various network sources and converts them to HDMI, VGA or HD component video. The streams may originate from a MediaMaster web server (excepting MM-2000) or an MPEG-2 streamer (MM-1280 series). It also acts as a video switch, offering dual HDMI inputs as well as a composite video input. It can decode MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 part 2, and H.264 video with AC3, PCM, MP3, or AAC audio. Files may be streamed in MPEG transport streams over raw UDP or RTP, either via RTSP or multicast. It supports up to 19 Mbit/s streams for true high definition content. The decoder has an optional RS-232 serial output for controlling a video display. This obviates the need for additional Ethernet to serial converters, e.g. MM-1260 through MM-1264. An optional built-in 2 port Ethernet switch also exists. This can allow a single classroom Ethernet run to support either a PC or network controlled projector in addition to the MM-1274.
