The TTAIB has been designed for the exclusive use of back-up for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is satellite audio used as a back-up audio path for satellite down-link
broadcasts via a phone line. The TTAIB is installed between the base of the phone celluar and the handset. A cellular phone can also be used. The compatible audio signal is received on the phone line, then it is fed through the TTAIB into the buildings public address system. The TTAIB is a one-way device, it is not capable of sending audio back through the phone line. The TTAIB does have active circuitry, so a certified certified universal power supply is provided with each unit. The power supply U.S version comes with a standard 2-prong plug, while the international version is provided with a kit of various type plugs.
