The EMCORE Optiva MDM-7001C CWDM MUX/DEMUX enables multiplexing or demultiplexing up to 16 wavelengths onto or from a common singlemode optical fiber with wavelengths ranging from 1270 nm to 1610 nm. The MDM-7001C is most typically used when either leased fiber cost is an issue or when the existing fiber plant has reached its maximum capacity.
