The DTMF-300 is a plug-in card and software feature upgrade for WAVES (Wireless Audio Visual Emergency System) that gives an authorized user password access to WAVES System functions through simple keystroke input on a telephone keypad.
Every step is assisted with user defined voice prompts to avoid errors. The user is informed if an invalid command has been entered. Prior to initiating announcements, the user is required to confirm that the announcement to be played is the correct one. As a last check, the user is offered the option to cancel or re-record the announcement.
Enhanced telephone circuitry and automatic gain control maintains recording quality over a wide dynamic range.
The telephone control module allows users to type ahead through the menus so that seasoned users can initiate announcements efficiently without having to wait for the
entire set of voice prompting to complete.
Digital Signal Processor (DSP) ensures uniform recording quality level and accurate detection of keystrokes from “dialing through” the prompts.
