The XV-HD2-SQX provides 3 channels of capture from DVI, HDMI, VGA and Composite Video and allows encoding of channels to H.264 at the same time.

The XV-HD2-SQX can encode HD video from DVI/ HDMI up to 1080p, 1 HD input can be encoded at 60fps and other at 30fps or both at 30fps.

HDMI embedded audio can be captured and encoded, 2 channel stereo or analogue audio via optional audio input module.

The XV-HD2-SQX can capture and encode two 1920 x 1200 inputs at 30fps or 1 at 60fps and other at 30fps, this allows display of input video on capture windows and video stream out at the same time.

Dedicated on-board H.264 encoder engine enables fast high resolution encoding without consuming CPU resources.

Whilst encoding, the input resolution can be changed without having to stop and restart encoders, the XV-HD2-SQX will automatically scaled up or down to maintain the originally requested encode resolution.

The XV-HD2-SQX encoded video streams can be configured by the SQX media server for distribution over a network.

In addition, raw video can be captured rapidly and transferred to graphics hardware or system buffers for viewing or further processing.

DirectShow compatible capture card allows standalone application development to be simple as well as allowing the card to be used with other 3rd party applications such as VLC.
