Rack-mount AES/EBU to EtherSound interfaces allow connecting any AES/EBU product to an EtherSound network. They are ES-100 audio transport compliant, thus providing additional and ubiquitous control through a third standard RJ-45 Ethernet port. Combined with other ES-100 compliant Digigram or third party products such as the LXES PCI or PCIe cards, these interfaces allow for fault tolerant ring topologies that guarantees uninterrupted audio distribution, and user notification in case of a network cable or device failure.
ES881v2, ES1241v2, ES16161v2 bring the EtherSound connectivity to other equipment featuring AES/EBU I/Os. They can insert 2, 4, or 8 stereo AES/EBU sources to the EtherSound network, and can extract EtherSound channels to deliver respectively 4, 6 or 8 AES/EBU outputs. The parameters can be remotely controlled from the EScontrol software application or any other third party EtherSound control application.
