The 12LXN is a long-excursion low frequency loudspeaker which sets a new industry standard in 12” high performance transducers. The new surround design permits a greater cone excursion without damage or mechanical clipping of the signal. The new cone geometry of the LX series speakers along with the use of composite materials and strengthening additives has increased the rigidity of the cone. This has widened the power band in which the speaker works pistonically. The result is higher SPL and a reduction in distortion levels.
