Cool-Lux announces the release of LUX GEARS, a new convenient line of lens gears.  These cinema pitched lens gears are compatible with any standard follow focus.  Each gear is designed to stretch over the focus barrel of a lens and stay in place with a tight compression fit.  This new patent pending design eliminates the need for buckle mechanisms, tie wraps and screws and in turn allows for a smooth, continuous 360° of rotation.  The gears can be quickly installed or removed without the need for tools and are completely reusable.  Convenience is key to this new product.

There are 16 gear sizes to choose from.  Each steps up in size by 2mm for compatibility with any lens having a barrel diameter between 60mm and 92mm. Lux Gears are 0.8 cinema pitched lens gears for use with any standard follow focus.  Each gear is precision molded in high-durometer silicone for a durable, fully functional compression fit on a lens’ focus barrel without the need for cumbersome buckle mechanisms that get in the way.  The 16 gear sizes step up in increments of 2mm for compatibility with any lens having a diameter between 60mm and 92mm.
