SAFE Commander is a software solution that gives you control of the bells, paging, intercom and emergency alert systems throughout your school. With SAFE Commander you can, adjust bell schedules whenever you want, create paging zones for delivering announcements, use classroom audio systems as intercoms, and customize recorded instructions to play during an emergency.
  • Paging Zones, Intercom
    • Organize classrooms, hallways, outdoor, and other spaces into paging zones
    • Each paging zone is assigned a unique phone extension and/or address
    • Administrators dial a zone extension to communicate to individual spaces or paging zones
  • Bell Schedules
    • Administrators create and assign multiple custom bell schedules to specific zones
    • Custom bell schedules allow administrators to make needed changes for assemblies, testing, and other exceptional circumstances in moments, without needing a 3rd party technician
    • SAFE Commander uses any audio files for bells, allowing administrators to customize the sound and tone
    • Some schools have found that playing up-beat music in the hallways inspires students to move faster between classes, reducing tardies
  • SAFE Alerts
    • Administrators pre-record emergency information to play when an internal threat arises, e.g. communicate lockdown instructions.
    • Alerts can also be prepared for emergency situations, e.g. evacuation directions, hurricane warnings, and tornado watches.
