Our PrivacyShield® 12×12 Room Kit is designed to provide the appropriate material to block the transmission of speech through a ceiling grid for a 12’x12′ room. This kit contains 2′ x 2′ or 2′ x ‘4 ceiling tile barriers to lay on top of existing ceiling tiles and standard 2′ x 2′ or 2′ x 4’ light hoods. All necessary installation accessories are included (mastic, tape, and brush for light assembly of light hoods). If sound does not pass through the walls of the existing space, the next likely culprit is the ceiling grid.  Most office partition walls do not extend to the roof deck, which allows sound to transmit into the plenum and flank over to the adjacent space.
