The Hurricane Jr. is a perfect addition to the AAdynTech line of LED fixtures; and like our JAB Hurricane, the Jr. is rated IP65, meaning the head and the power supply are completely weatherproof. The Jr. is lightweight, weighing less than five lbs.
For locations where adequate power is not available, the Hurricane Jr. consumes only .85 Amps AC; and will also operate for hours off 28.8 Volts DC battery power, while attaining a steady light output of over 650 foot-candles @ 10 feet.
Flexibility allows the Hurricane Jr. to serve as either a hard light with an amazing amount of throw, or a beautiful soft light with a wide angle lens and/or a soft bank attached to the front. The light beam is very smooth and even. The brightness output ranges from 0% to 100% with nochange in color temperature, and can be controlled manually or by 5 pin DMX in/out control.
The Hurricane Jr. comes with a scrim bag, 4 lenses @ 5, 15, 30 & 55 degrees and 2 hard gels; 1/4 CTO and 1/4 Minus Green to achieve any desired look. A Kit is also available consisting of an ATA Mil-Spec road case, barn doors, speed ring & light bank. As an option, AAdynTech designed a Lens Extender attachment that fits on the front of the fixture to combine the multiple LED sources into a single source of light with any of our lenses.
The addition of a speed ring & soft bank gives the Hurricane Jr. unlimited versatility providing even illumination that virtually envelops the subject for near shadow-less results. No panel type LED can provide the best of powerful daylight fill and uniform edge-to-edge softness for close up, on-location interviews.
