Part of Universal Music Group, Universal Music France (UMF) is a leader in musical entertainment. The company employs over 500 people, to deliver everything from recording, publishing, merchandising, as well as audiovisual content creation and production.

Tune out distractions. Dial-up the Focus.

Music is at the heart of UMF, which is why when remote working took off, they took the opportunity to transform their old spacious offices into a unique concert hall, allowing their employees to relocate into a purpose-built open plan office.

With the team now working more flexibly, the volume of online meetings and phone calls increased, creating a need to tune out the background noise and dial-up the focus. Boasting superior noise cancellation and voice isolating microphones, Jabra Evolve2 75 headsets were the obvious choice for a company who understand great audio.

Professional headsets. The right tool for the job.

Previously, Universal Music France employees relied on the in-built laptop mics, or earbuds designed primarily to play music, leaving them struggling to stay connected, especially in a noise open-plan office environment. Recognizing the need to use the right tool for the job, UMF began researching professional headsets, which would be comfortable to wear all-day, have a battery life to last, be competitively priced, and work seamlessly with their online meeting platform of choice, Zoom. It was a big wish list.

Benoit Pujol, Production Manager, explained: “We used the internet to compare brands we were familiar with to see what they had to offer. We were looking for headphones that were compatible with our phones and computers so we could have seamless interactions. Jabra’s online presence immediately impressed us. It was essential for us to try the products before buying, and Jabra offering the opportunity to test products prior to purchase really made them stand out from the competition. We filled in the online form, and a Jabra salesperson quickly got in touch to discuss our needs and expectations before sending several models to test for ourselves.”
