Challenge
Integration Complexity: The installation required integrating multiple networks: one for DANTE, one for video over IP, and one for data/web connectivity, with the DANTE network being the largest.
Network Segmentation: The Aurora VPX devices needed to handle audio from approximately 12 cable feeds and route them to any loudspeaker, necessitating complex traffc management and VLAN trunking.
Limited Outputs: Aurora VPX’s single copper output needed to interface with both the video switch and the dedicated DANTE network switch, requiring innovative traffc separation and routing solutions.
How Aurora's Solutions Enhances the Project Scope
Exclusive VPX Use: Aurora VPX devices were utilized exclusively, effciently managing all audio feeds and ensuring flexible routing capabilities without relying on VLX, IPX, or ReAX controls.
Internal Traffic Separation: Despite the signals coming out of the same NIC and cable, Aurora VPX devices internally separated and routed different data streams to their correct destinations, overcoming the challenge of limited outputs.
Seamless DANTE Integration: The VPX devices facilitated seamless integration with other DANTE products, enabling smooth audio management and routing across the extensive DANTE network.
