The Texas Rangers Golf Club, recently brought Digital Resources in to provide a complete re-design of the AV system for the facility. This Lone Star getaway is the world’s only Major League Baseball-branded golf course. As it was even before the Texas Rangers won the World Series, the facility continues to host pro golf events, meetings, weddings, and many other special private events.
To address all of the Audio/Video needs for the spaces within the facility, Digital Resources designed a complete AV over IP back-bone utilizing the latest technology with the new Zeevee encoder/decoders to facilitate the complex distribution of video, audio, and control throughout the system. A custom-programmed Crestron system provides control. Netgear AV network switches and Biamp Audio DSP’s to drive sound across all the spaces of the facility and driving range.
The main rooms include large meeting spaces for events, and conference room spaces for smaller groups. A pro shop that utilizes digital signage and marketing to a LCD display. There is a wedding venue for large parties and personal spaces for the bride and groom. There are multiple patio areas as well as a full-service golf driving range, first-class restaurant, a bar that showcases a video wall and a lot more video displays strategically placed for maximum viewing.
In addition, we provided flexible A/V interfaces for the complete interfacing of BYOD devices. The system offers audio, video, and TV channel control to each display and the video walls to allow the ability to customize the experience for guests to utilize each space as needed.
